PHP / Laravel developer duties and responsibilities

• Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

PHP / Laravel developer requirements and qualifications

• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3 year(s)
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
• Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
• Creative and efficient problem solver
• Experience with payment systems (Stripe)

Scope of work:
We are developing a recommendation system based on real-time video feeds with different detection and recognition algorithms for analysis of cars, persons and queues for retail purposes.

• You need to quickly dive into the current stage of the video analytics system project and take on the implementation of the business logic block - processing and synchronizing events based on videodata;
• We expect the candidate to solve the tasks of integrating business logic with computer vision block;
• Carry out design and implementation of services, their interaction;
• Design the architecture and backend implementation of the solution;

Requirements:

• Programming language - Python; Experience writing code in a commercial setting;
• Experience with interservice interaction, knowledge of synchronization mechanisms;
• Experience with relational DW(PostgreSQL, ClickHouse);
• Experience with Linux, Docker and Git/Gitlab;
• English - reading technical literature and scientific articles;
• Ability to forecast and balance long-term strategic design and short-term tactical solutions;
• Self-organized and proactive attitude, experience of registration of the conducted experiments and results of work.

Will be an advantage:

• Familiarity with frameworks for computer vision tasks: Pytorch/Keras/Tensorflow, OpenCV;
• Implementation of Computer Vision projects from data collection to implementation in production;
